Simon... It's Darren... he's bought a sticker making machine for his bike business. I've been busy in the evenings doing the artwork for him to use to put on fairings, etc. Also been busy making the correct measurements for wheel rim tape and helmet visor stickers and the like.

You wanna go round to his unit at the weekend when he's there to take a look round. He's getting there... slowly.

Pretty happy with the Jetta at the moment... Very Happy

Looking good G, I got my pinstripes from Halfrauds it only cost me about 3 and it did all 4 wheels twice I found it easy to fit even though it wasnt curved, gotta say though dude I preferred the overall look of the Jetta with the antracite wheels, I think the G60's would look rather cool in anthracite and the pinstripe would stand out a bit more if you catch my drift. It's okay Dean... got another set of Pepperpots to play around with this summer. Think I might have found myself a buyer for the anthracite ones on E38... hopefully. That'll then pay for the new ones to get sorted. Wink

A tear to my eye... Sad

Thanks guys. I'm glad to be part of the Cult. Love the meets, love the guys in the club. The Cult cars are going from strength to strength, there's loads of nice ones that are going in a great direction. Took me a while to get into my stride with the Jetta as I was getting distracted with my other cars, but I think I'm headed in the right direction with this.

Front arches are back on now, so it looks like a more complete car... at last!

    Thanks for the positive comments.

Sarah... yeah, it's a stayer. There may be cars that come and go around it, but this is my 'toy' and so it stays!

Future plans include another engine upgrade, rear disc setup, paint and interior upgrade (colour to be decided). Oh, and need to find myself some snazzy rims... lol

Yeah, I know... another reason to keep the 4-door Jetta!

Might just experiment with keeping a dog first.

Yeah, rims & paint, then it'll be cool.

Interior is fine for now, but I'd love a leather re-trim at some point. Nothing lairy, just nice and classic.

Trouble is, it started off as a cheap car, and I kinda wanna keep it that way... I don't want to make it into an undriveable show machine, if you know what I mean.

Keeping it cool and on the down-low... Wink

i dont think you need to go 'unique' with rims mate, it makes good rims hard to come by, and if they look amazing, the chances of somebody else having them already are extremely high, I think its already earned it uniqueness- i think its screaming for RM/RS though in my oppinion, nice and classic but with an individual touch!

Would love some RM's for it... it's justifying the initial outlay that I'm in two minds about.

As soon as the VR goes and I swap the A8 for a diesel, then I can start looking properly.

Yeah, but under the one insurer, so both my vehicles (that are on the road) have the maximum no claims discount associated with them... makes it MUCH cheaper.

Swift Cover - cheapest (for me) by miles!
