Yeah, I got it all hooked up and on this afternoon... not exactly how I had it pictured though. It'll not be on this weekend for the show as I don't think it'll be accepted very well by the non-VW crowd... so will leave it till the next meet and see what you all think. Doesn't look as good as the Jetta set-up did. Kinda disappointed.

But... I did get the LCR front splitter fitted!

Just bought these Ronal A8 rims off Ebay for not very much money. Picking them up on Sunday and the plan is to put them on the A4 to sell it... if it comes to it. I don't think I could let it go with the BBS's on it.

Might have to do a mini-DIY make-over with some slightly darker spokes and a lighter/polished rim me thinks to make them look a bit specialer (is that a real word?).

    Or better all one colour?

Or one pink, one green, one purple... SCENE!

I'd say all one colour... They might look cool with polished rims though, who knows?

Lips are already polished, which is a bonus... so the centres may go darker on a DIY re-furb me thinks...

But, I may just leave them as they are as I've got plenty of other projects on the go at the mo to keep me busy!

    Aaaaaaaaagh!

It's just caught fire. Had to squirt it out with an extinguisher just now. Minor damage, but dunno if it'll go to Festival this weekend.

    Bummed!

Air intake pipe came loose and decided to rest on the turbo. Then some hot stuff happened...

Now I'm just rushing round trying to find replacement parts!

Yeah... some bits of the loom have been damaged too, along with a load of pipework... and the headlight is completely goosed.

Just found a complete facelift headlight (result!), so need to find a breaker that's willing to let me chop some bits off their car!
