You're absolutely right Dean. I thought the same thing. Need to find an alternative dark background'd location... think I have somewhere in mind. Wink

I think I've managed to source a replacement bonnet so that I don't have any unsightly dents on it - cheaper than getting it painted!

So, what do I do with the old one...? Shall I 'rust-it-up' or is that a bit 'last year'...?

The replacement's not arrived yet, so can't start making changes to the existing one just yet though! I want to make sure it's the right colour before I do anything...

No don't rust it up Gee, I don't see that working on the A4. To me it's got nice clean lines and that Super Tourer feel from the 90's BTCC. I'd get the new bonnet fitted and keep it all gleaming silver.

The guy selling the bonnet won't budge from his asking price, so I've proper seen my arse and I'm not going to bother getting it... another one will turn up sooner or later.

    Rolling Eyes

Good news... new fairing and basket 'mounting adapters' ordered today, so should be here for the Cleethorpes show...

Anyone know where I can get the strips that fit in the aero bars slot to stop the wind noise? I know Joe's got some on his and apparently it makes all the difference.

Few more mods arrived on the scene...

lower LED side-lights, rear boot lip spoiler (unpainted at the mo) and some Passat wing mirrors.

No pics as yet, so you'll all just have to believe me.

Also now got a fully working stereo system

Few recent pics from last week while it was a make-shift wedding car / holiday wagen in Scotland / the Lakes / Liverpool...

We did 900 miles without a fault (apart from some serious ground-clearance / ride-height issues in the Lakes!)

    Still loving it!

You might be able to just make out the latest mod... the boot lip spoiler. Undecided about colour-coding it just yet. Think it looks okay in standard black at the moment...
