I guess the work I put in paid off, last saturday I fitted the parts I had ordered over the last few weeks so we could go to the meeting of the largest vw forum in the Netherlands... (14.500 members)

Guess what, mine was chosen to have the first price for the mk4 class!

Two teammates (vw-speed.nl) won second price mk2 and first price mk1

Thanks guys, it's been a while since I was here...

I have a few more updates to this project so here I go!

    My mk4 1.8 20v on bags - Page 2 20v-253

Slow process, but at least it's progress Laughing

    A brand new R32 dashboard from a friend's crashed R32 Rolling Eyes
and new doorpanels for the electric windows build I'm planning on doing! (also with new aluminum brushed R32 parts)

Last week the powerwindow mechanism's I had ordered arrived!! so I can't wait to start on stripping the car's interior!! Rolling Eyes

How low can you go on regular mk4 steels in 16" with 205/55/16 tyres?? VERY LOW...............................................................

    My mk4 1.8 20v on bags - Page 2 20v-254

    My mk4 1.8 20v on bags - Page 2 20v-255
This is the current look! At the moment I'm re-polishing the 18" turbo's so I needed temp wheels, but I even didn't hate these, the stance overrules the wheels in my opinion Smile

I now have a 1 week holiday, so I started on fitting the powerwindow-motor today, and fitted the new doorpanel with all the alu parts!! Very Happy

Alu alu where ever you look Laughing

    My mk4 1.8 20v on bags - Page 2 20v-256

This wednesday I'm going to start the electrics-project... The rest of the parts will be fitted and the windows and mirrors will hopefully function like they should Laughing

andddddddddddddd The Lord finished the Rings Cool Still a bit dirty (Christina style Laughing ) but I can't wait to have them fitted to the mk4!

Kevin... car's looking great as usual.

It's nice that you find the time to post up all your stuff on the Cult forum. I think there's lots of us that appreciate you doing it.

Some of the stuff, no sorry, ALL of the stuff you've done to your car has been top class and really well done. It's a credit to you.

    G.

    Thanks guys!!!

So after weeks of parts hunting, 18 hours of labour, more than a thousand euro's, blood, sweat and tears I finally have the R32 dash installed, working electric windows and mirrors...

Since the mechanisms for the rear windows and several other parts (bora/jetta vents etc.)were in backorder we still have to finish those..... The story will continue
