    My Mk2 8v Empty My Mk2 8v

Post by Geeman on Mon May 28, 2007 7:03 am

Here's pics of my Mk2 Golf GTi at last... sad that it coincides with me having to sell it though... would really like to keep it alongside the Jetta.

It's a nice little motor that I've spent a lot of time on mechanically to get it running right. If I could keep it, I would... but I didn't win the lottery this weekend...

Let's hope it goes to a good home!

The Audi rims are off my Jetta which has had to have steelies put on to pass the MOT (see bottom pic) - had to swap them all over, so thought I'd take a pic of the Golf with them on as this was the car I had originally planned to put them on... don't look to bad do they? In fact, I think they look better on the Golf than they do on the Jetta!

Jetta front... Audi rims... next you'll be painting your car silver... lol

It is a shame it has to go, if I didn't have to sell it, I would definitely keep it and run it alongside the Jetta... then I could do an engine swap into the Jetta...!

JJ... already got one fella... the one that came out of the Golf (with nothing wrong with it afterall) that's now clamped to an engine stand in my garage ready for strip down and re-build.

Also got a 6-cylinder lump that's got my name on it for later on... Cool

Just need a weber carb as a temporary measure for the Jetta at the moment.
