no idea.......we can soon find one

probably buy a Rocco GTII for the pedal box and gear linkage parts needed for the manual conversion

could even stick the 1.8 Carb engine and box from the rocco in it for a while till a 1.9 TDI is tracked down

I take it you've got the 'Rocco lying around somewhere already then?

So many projects I'd like to do... not enough time or money though! Will have to settle for watching everyone else doing them and getting enjoyment form their end products...

Hope it goes well, and we expect plenty of photos at every stage!

Had good fun collecting the Caddy from Barnsley last night

a mate of Matt's kindly lent us his Mondeo to tow the car trailer we borrowed off Matt's other mate

some dipstick had hit one of the bridges on the outbound A63.......so we had to leave Hull via Swanland, Melton, Welton & Brough

Then a little after leaving the M62, Matt got us lost

Caddy only just fitted on the trailer......it's longer than we thought

anyway, long story short.......i didn't get home till 11:30

p.s. a 1.8 Mondeo is rubbish for towing.......60 to 65 with my foot to the floor
