Yer it is Morrisons bud thought i best clean it as it was abit dirty,

and as for the holes i dont have a clue but i know some sad facts like his new dry sumped engine weighs less than the block of the original cossy, and his carbon fibre prop shaft weighs 80 grams its like another world stepping in his garage

    very nice rims

and that cossie is going to be nice.........

a mate of mine has just total'd his group N rally cossie, silly boy!!!!

he is getting another one as he destroyed most of it including a 7grand gear box!!! it is cheaper to get another and start agin then repair it

he also sells the rims seen on his car here- he has teamed up with team dynamics to devlop rims with the right ET and the right brake clearance to be competitive in group N and group A- look similar to your mates rims- he sells them on ebay check out user skillyrally

Cheers bud ill pass it on,

i know this is a vw forum and as a general rule i don't like ford (fix or repair daily) but i have much respect for a motorsport Cossy like the one above, and their tuning ability even the sierra

no he doesn't to be honest, he has built loads of 400/500 bhp ones but this time he wants to take it further, he doesn't race them just uses them for track days, he is always going across to nurberg in the evo

Car looks nice mate in the pics Smile

That cossie should be a weapon - what engine spec is he going for? 800bhp is alot through a YB! The last time a UK tuner tried for over 700bhp it did the block..

    Not really done much on Bora over the past couple of months other than keeping it running which included;

    New front shock inserts
    track rod end
    Boot lights and rear bulbs
    Cam belt
    Frozen door
    Ball joint
    MOT

So my car was all fixed not one thing was wrong with it after its MOT, untill the day after and the exhaust broke snapping the back box from the bracket,

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0122

Took it home and did a quick repair to it and thoughts nuts to it and bought a Milltek system for it Very Happy

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0123

didnt really do much research into it so didnt realise the back box was a piece system over the rear beam and right to the cat up front,

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0124

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0125

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0126

had to grind the old one in half as this is all one peice on the original

    Bora Update pg 8 - Page 4 Dsc_0127

Fitted it took it out for a spin and its the best thing i could ever have done, it sounds slightly deeper than the original but has reduced the back pressure loads so the turbo just keeps going it pulls like a train, can definately feel the difference.

Plans for the next couple of months are Ree's Lupo, a door card for bora and maybe porsche brakes, would also like some new seats if i can find any i like, and maybe start smoothing a parts down.

And some new rear lights hint hint Angry Dog
