Yes i've been kept busy with it,still doing bits and bobs, been using an arch rolling tool that i borrowed off a mate, its quite scary work using it though as i'm trying not to distort the arch or crack the paint but if it goes pete tong then never mind

Yeah they are prtty scary, When i had the polo i grinded the lip off the rear arches keeping water on it so the paint didn't burn affraid went ok I suppose. I pulled the arch out with some 4x2 Very Happy how barry.
Hope you make a good job. How far have you managed to push it up?

The inner arch is looking a lot better as theres no ridge anymore so its definately working but i'm doing it a bit at a time then spraying a bit of paint inside the arch and driving it till it catches then looking at where its rubbed the paint off then working that area more, hopefully i should be able to make enough clearance without damaging anything but you never know

As you can see the wheels are fully black now and i've darkened the headlights and indicators

also noticed that tom with the bolf is a member of this cruising site

Indicators split easy enough but headlights were bonded very well, plus depends how much you want to do too cos once there split the front part of the headlight trim comes out in one piece and was easy to spray but if you want to do the light bowls as well then the inner part of the headlights can be painted too,i decided to brush paint it as spen advised as masking could lead to pulling off the chrome inner coating, spraying would get better results if your willing to risk it but i wasn't lol unfortunately with them having clear lenses you can see the areas you paint clearly so you can see the brush strokes if you look closely, may split them again in the future and either cover the main visable bottom area with a shaped piece of black perspex to make it look neater

Yes but it didn't seem to do much as they were bonded really well
