ello all, new to the site thought i better say hi. met a few vuu folks a week or so ago at the Leeds meet, top geeza's and ladies although i cant remember any names.....( had a few bevies ) was not drivin cos my car looks a little like this....................

haha me too, thats the one, used to look like that, was owned by a guy called liam from manchester way before i got it. bought it with a shot headgasket and ran the 1.1 for about a year and a half!! them little engines are hard as nails! took it off the road as engine was pourly and the primer paint job was not enjoying the wet........ rust ahoy! the joys of mk1's..... still love it tho! another pic on my old drive

Remember seeing this at Elsecar in 2006, Was parked behind my square, That liam bought my mates old Polo too.

oh and welcome Love Mk1's and always have.I always said to my Dad i'd have one one day but i ended up with a squareback polo in red and now i have my Octy

living in chapelallerton at mo, not far from city centre and a walk away from the Leeds meet!

hardwork, prob gonna stay primered and clear lacquered for the moment as i have zero funds for "proper" paint job but is now kept garaged so hopefully wont kill it. cheers for kind comments, proper mess at the mo, not letting this mk1 die tho....love em although it sometimes feels like it doesn't love me back !
