Sooooo.. heres an update for you all...
as you all know it sounds like a total heapa crap!!
As some of you will be aware i have had many oil buzzer issues.. for what is an electrical fault (still not diagnosed - but looking at the wiring its kinda obvious!) Horn works when it wants to aswell!
Had an issue with dash wiring when it came to plug in my phone charger and i lost the interior light, cigarette lighter and stereo as i was blowing fuses.. changed the fuse and it continued to eat fuses. after a little bit of testing and repairing horrendous wires behind the dash the fault was with the cigarette lighter, outer casing was touching inner casing causing the fuse to blow. thats now fixed
The chavvy steeering wheel and boss has been replaced for a 4 button wheel.. so much nicer to drive!
back to the main point the tappets were horrendous, and the engine was feeling a little sorry for itself, so after going to the grounded meet many moons ago was kindly supplied with a head with the understanding alex can fit it for me and stop it sounding so sh!t. so finally many months later alex and myself have got round to fitting it (i say 'us', i mean him, i manned the haynes and held stuff outta the way! here's where we're at now..
almost everything was seized and we broke many tools along the way. but hopefully in the next few days when we find another few hours to put all vaccum pipes back on and sort out a few wires which are broken.. then hope it'll start and work.
^^ i degreased this while alex took the car apart...
dirrty oily old head.. it appears i've had a leak for quite a while...
^^ footmarks!
^^not working.... jus catching some rays!
^^old one out
^^mess
getting there

^^ i was prob getting told off for somehting here...
^^
almost al back together now. Got all fuel lines and injectors back on, and engine is back together and manifold is bolted abck on... just the 'easy' stuff to do now..
hahaha.. in 6 months time the KR will be in so ill be a happy girly.
but i've missed not really having a car for the past 6 months or so. poor thing deserves some love, and it deserves to make some meets again. Now i'm degree free and working 9-5 hours i've got my weekends for the car!
oh im soo excited! i'll be back at the cult meets sooner than you know it!
