Pics tomorrow when I get the rims rubbered up. No point at the moment as a) it's dirty and b) it just looks the same, but a bit lower.

New starter motor getting delivered today. Sick of tapping the bugger every time I wanna start the engine! Major service this weekend before I go to France, including the coolant pipe and the brake servo vacuum bung attachment thingy.

    Busy busy busy!

So here it is as it stands at the moment... coilovers and BBS's on.

Looking okay so far... Standard CL headlights in place of the horrible projector / angel eyes units for now until I get the Vento grille and bonnet painted.

    Project BLACK - new images, page 6 - Page 3 Mk3_210

And here's an idea I had over the weekend... to bring the colour of the wheels more into the theme of the car... I've already created the full size artwork for the vinyl, but I'm in two minds whether to do it or not. Need to get some spare wing-mirror covers to spray too.

How about without the 'RS' bit then...? Just a plain stripe...

No, you're right. No stripe. Was just knocking ideas around.

I'll go stand in the naughty corner now. Embarassed

Hopefully the Jetta will be done for then. I was going to take that to Festival.

If the Jetta is sorted, then the Golf won't be done in time. I've also got to fix the poorly Audi now... so funds are tight and priorities have changed!

Yeah, the Mk3 will be staying for a while. I really enjoyed using it while we were away. A few niggling points that need attention, but overall it performed fantastically!

Adam... not hand chance to do anything with it at all. The grille and bonnet are at the painters at the moment though, but I've not even looked at the headlights yet.

Far too busy right now! Crying or Very sad

You put it in the oven...? I tried that with my Jetta ones and it messed up the reflective parts. Started peeling off... and I still struggled to split them!

Think I'll just use a heat gun. Shocked

Really liking your MkIII Giles. When I saw the pics of the wheels after you'd had them finished in grey I really wasn't sure, but fitted they look spot on - funny how it works like that sometimes!?! Great ride buddy.
