    were's the power-steering fluid leaking from???

    if it's from the pipe & the rubber part I maybe able to sort it at work for you Very Happy ......... if it's the metal part maybe not, our hose ends are different to automotive ends Sad

    i ve got a power steering pump in my garage , do u want the pipes as if there still in go nick, but i have to check on the pipes through, the mk3 is going to the scrap yard on Saturday morning so u have to let me no asap

    I'm almost positive it's from the rack itself as I know Jez was searching for one not so long ago... so if you've got a rack to donate, I'm sure he'll be most appreciative!

    Just need it all fitted and tracked up now and I will be happy for awhile

    Yes gee but only on one side so the plan is
    to reuse the one year old track rod along with the brand new power steering rack and track rod

    I used to leave puddles of power steering fluid like that everywhere i went in my old E36 when the rack was knackered,made a mess of my parents block paving LOL hope you get it all sorted out soon mate Very Happy

    its home with a few less issues then before it went away thank god
    new rack and front tyres sorted
    lots of bodywork repairs
    and a few funny noises to sort
    but I'm happy at mo
    my conversion to cl spec is under way fronts done and orange sides on the way
    just rears to find
    any one know of any open hole head rests that fit Mk3's gti seats
