How do, I'm Nick from Hull. Some off you may know me already...!

My daily drive is an Octavia VRS, but this may be going to fund my mk2 16v project that ive owned 4years+ now!

The skoda is boggo 180bhp with only a radio change!
    Hey up Pbucket

The MK2 valvers spec so far is:

Fully rebuilt engine, knife edged/lightened crank
    Polished/ported head
reprofiled cams, have a set of shricks to go in!
    TSR s/s 4branch manifold
    Full s/s Jetex system
Shafted k-jet silent (may be getting replaced with fireblade carbs or simillar)
    Lowered 70odd mm
    Black steelies
    CL bumpers
    late 16v rear lamps
RS turbo recaro's on custom subframes
    harness's
    Stripped out rear!
Currently half in bits in my garage getting ready for a full paint and a few new panels!

    Hey up Pbucket

In trackday mode on its old wheels:

Goodstuff! I'm after a non pas rack and lower column for mine, my pas is shagged and i wanna ditch as much from under the bonnet as poss! I'd get some wings from brown bros/unipart, they reckon they're the closest to genuine fit you'l get and are about 25 each so not a lot! I need doors, bonnet sunroof panel one wing and a front subrame.... oh yeah and the steering stuff... not a lot really....! May need some polo spares off you if you have any too![/img]

Welcome aboard, nice to see another skoda owner

mk2 sounds like it should be fairly quick when finished, bike carbs sound like a good idea too, heard good things from those that have run them

Yeah, ive been told bike carbs are a lot better right through the rev range, and boggys can sort an inlet out etc! Think the skoda is staying for good, i'd be hard pressed to get anything as quick and reliable for the same money! The golf is probably not going to be finished until next year though... Will have to get the skoda suspension uprated next!
