allright, im slim from www.vwwold.co.uk ,i drive a passat 20v variant, slammed on amg rims,u may have seen it at the cleethorpes meet before u all buggered off without saying anything???? didnt think that was very good tbh,we are all dubberz, just coz we say what we think and dont conform to the "scene" requirements we get shunned??? hopefully it wont always be like this! nice cars at clee just a shame like i said,we didnt feel welcome! oh well said my bit!

hi Slim, I wasnt at the cleethorpes meet so I dont know what happened but I'm sure the cult didnt mean to offend or not make anyone feel welcome! welcome to the site anyway, and I'm sure if you browse around you will see how nice we really are!

Didn't make it to the Cleethorpes meet either as my MkII is still being rebuilt, but sorry you had a bad experience. Like Chi says, I like to think we're a friendly bunch??? Take it easy, Simon

Re: ello
Erm... hello.
I was at Cleethorpes too in my Jetta. A 'shun' was in no way intentional! I was personally loving the Mk2 with (newly painted) Borbets (makes me wanna turn my Jetta into small bumpers!), the Mk3 with black bonnet and your ride on the AMG's... they were all sweet.
Conforming is not what we're about at all! In fact, it's something that we're aiming to get away from! Sorry if you felt like we ignored you... that wasn't meant to be like that at all.
I left for the pub thinking that everyone knew where we were going when it started raining. I can only apologise on behalf of the Cult for this mis-understanding and would welcome you at our birthday meet in Hull on the 15th.
Sorry once again... but welcome to the Cult fella!

Hi im with Gee on this. I thought it was THE arranged pub so thought we were all meeting up in there. And for ignored, im afraid it WAS'NT our meet and you made little as much effort as us to talk to us??
6 of 1, half a dozen of the other comes to mind.
Relax fella, it was a simple misunderstanind, like most things are....

as u said it was YOUR meet which we attended to try and get a bit more of a dub family going round these parts,as for making an effort to talk,we dont know anyone and u can appreciate that its not the best thing in the world for anyone to do when ya dont know anyone?! if it was a mis-understanding then fair enuff, but if we had done the same im sure u wouldntve have been too impressed either! thanks for the welcomes and comments about the cars, they are most appreciated!

Re: ello
It was a typo Was = Was'nt i knew it wasnt our meet??
We were just going to the other side of the bank as your lot had previously come to ours?
Why would we organise a meet in Cleethropes?

Re: ello
Dont worry wasnt aimed at you Slim, we all make mistakes. None of us are perfect and yer sounds kewl. In fairness, i was parched and pretty hungry so went to pub.
However i thought this was where everyone was goin, thought one of our lads had spoken to you. No worries anyway pal, cu next time

Re: ello
Like JJ said, it wasn't a "VUU Cult" meet... so it wasn't really our place to organise things...
Anyway, I'm up for a spot of beach-party-ness. Let us know when it is and I'll have my flip-flops at the ready and be on for it!
(might even bring a wet-suit if the jet-ski is on the water)
Cheers,
G.
