My MkII (finally!) Empty My MkII (finally!)

Post by MkIISimon Thu Jul 19, 2007 2:40 pm

Well I've got the old girl back on the road after the engine problems and attempted theft (scum bags!) Fitted the coil overs and dropped it, fitted the Porsche rims and given it a bit of a clean. Also had the interior tidied by MJ's - new headliner and the seats retrimmed where needed using old stock cloth. (The interiors been kept standard as I like it and it was in good nick to start with). Hope you like it??? I think it needs dropping more now and possibly wider rubber on the back as the rims look tiny.

Very clean car mate and agree that you need to wind the coilovers down a bit more still

Thanks folks, it still needs a drivers door as that's poor and lets it down - I just can't find a decent one anywhere. I don't think many early five doors have survived! Definately need to go lower. I'd like the rear rims spaced further out, but might have to live with it like this for a bit as hub adapters aren't cheap. I'm suprised at how skinny they look as these are 22mm.
