well here we go i got a lupo 1.4s just to build up some ncb as i lost mine when i stuffed two pug 306 td in 11 months it looked like this

the lupo that never was DSCF0006

it stayed that way for two years it started playing up just would not run right and vw said it was going to cost about £800 to fix so i said no thanks i found a lupo sport engine in london so i drove down in my free rover 216gti the lupo that never was Rover3

it was low and with an engine in the back was silly low

i went to halfords got a cheap tool set and set about replacing it
the lupo that never was DSC00189

old one out in with the with the new
the lupo that never was Itsinandclean

i got it running buy using the old inlet manifold and throttle bodie it past its mot first time i stripped the old one back to find it looked like this
the lupo that never was DSCI0140
cracked valves the timing had been out for about a year by only a little Rolling Eyes .

well ran it like that for about 3/4 months

then i was coming along the m40 the dash lit up to tell me i had done something wrong the engine never had its lower cambelt cover on the alternater belt had snaped and wrapped its self in the crank pulley and wiped out all the valves so thet put me back sq 1

then i spotted a gti engine up for sale with a 6 speed box so i bagged that

and now a year and a bit later still dont have the engine in
the lupo that never was 10092007050
but i am cracking on with it so will update as i go along
