Splits? What you doing with the G60's then?

I think it looks real nice as it is. I'm a fan of the big-bumpers and arches. Too many people are taking them off these days to look 'retro' and cool. Original is best.

Anyway, that's a nice, clean looking example. Has it done many miles? I like it a lot actually.

    Done 118000 miles

G60's would be kept for winters prob

Unsure on wheels tho fancy some bbs split's but everyman and his dog has them so maybe something diffrent (best get saving) want to go wide 15's tho as it handles superb Smile

agree with the geeman, leave as it and rideher on some splits.

original big bumper 90specs are the way forward, esp with g60 arches

    and white too

    nice

if i were you and i had bought this (and i definatley would as it ticks all my mk2 boxes)

i wud drop a 2.0 abf into it

    and 15inch bbs rm's- 8 and 8.5

then i would be a happy happy man

so 8" front and 8.5" rear runs off to ebay......

Engine conversion isn't a option yet tho as i have been warned i will be made homeless lol

like you say bbs splits are common- but ask yourslef why.......

And they are the ultimate rim for a mk2 imo

i would do your best to make it a minter- best possible, now they are rare- many 90specs are battered and bruised, personally been a massive mk2 fan, theres nothing i like to see more then a minter 90spec'er,

the only thing i would change on a mk2 is the interior and even then i wud just retrim the seats in leather- not change their shape

Needs 1 door card as it has 3 diffrent ones lol

But the interior is spot on no marks rips or tears the car has been well looked after as we found out when i put it on the ramp on Saturday

The price of the bbs's puts me off tho as there not cheap

i think being original with your wheels is better then just going for splits without even considering som thing else.

Big bumpers and arches loook good, and it looks like your fit well, you shouda seen mine when i first got it, wavey bumper, arches stuck on with sikaflex, holes in the sill covers. But when they fit well is really works, especially on a white cat - it make the plastic trim look cool

borbet A's i know there are a few set knocking about on cars at the moment but they do look nice or splash your cash and get a set of htn's lol!

agree with sam the black trim on the white car does look cool sometimes its best to stay minimal in what you do if the cars in good condition then you can leave it original and put it on a nice set of rims if you get the wheels right it can make a car look a million dollar
