Re: !New mods fitted this morning!
just orederd my ats cups! - £565 delivered with yoko tyres which i thought was pretty good. Then i wanna slam it but dont know how much or with what kit. I use it everyday so i dont want to ruin the ride too much. Any suggestions would be appreciated. ben

I'd go for fully adjustabe coilovers, for everyday use, as they give a better ride, I've had a fair few sets in the past and GAZ are the best I've used for the price, on my 3rd sety of GAZ now.
Used Supersport and Weitec previously and just got uber cheap Raceland coilys, not got them on yet tho, so cant comment, but others did the job, just tend to be abit bouncy, probly due to them being fixed rate.
Only one's I'd never use again would be AVO's they leaked after only a few months.
Or you could just buy my GMAX kit which I'm removing, gives a great ride and a good drop (80mm)

Re: !New mods fitted this morning!
thanks for the advice, dont know if i would dare go 80 mm!!, there are speed bumps around my estate. i was thinking 50-60mm. i keep getting mixed reviews about coilovers though. some people say there great, others say the thread rusts up in winter and you have gotta pay big money for a good set. The garage i ordered my cups from said he could do me a 55mm g max shocks and springs set for £195. im still undecided though.

Re: !New mods fitted this morning!
There are things you can do to stop the threads corroding, plus alot are stainless steel now, so its not much of an issue, plus TBH once you've got the ride height sorted you hardly ever adjust them again anyway.
