me van decided it has had enough and tried to kill itself yesterday ,(engine sounds like a bag of spanners) so i have just purchased a 1.9 tdi engine and am going to give it the conversion i have been threatening to do for ages ,
so im looking forward to economy power and torque ,

my broken engine is a petrol flat 4 wbx , and my new one is a fly by wire inline 4 tdi ,so its the wiring thats gonna be a ball ache,!

the van has been layed up all winter ,
but its booked in for starting the tdi install in a couple of weeks ,
also gonna get round to finishing the bbs/mahles soon ,
really been missing the van while its been off the road (especially as i have been using a mondeo as a hack
)
