well if my dad was still with us he would of no doubt be doing all our heads in at the meets rolling around in something to make us all jealous

well I've been asking my mum to see if she could find a photo of the mk1 which has stuck with me all this time and is the soul reason i got into dubs

and today she came up trumps

think this was taken in Germany the car would of been about 12/18 months old i was about 8/9 years old




as far as i know was crashed after my dad sold it don't think it ever made it back onto the road

was a shame as dad loved it

well cool, if only all dads were that cool. my dad gave up on vw's last
year n bought a bmw, wish he hadnt loved the passat n the golf he had.

My old fella had a mk2 Derby in mars red, but it was the wifes dad that got me into VAG with his series 1 Audi 80. Boy do i wish i had that now.

dad has an audi A4 avant tdi sport
mum has an audi A4 avant tdi auto
brother has a vw bora tdi
i have my octavia and my work van is a vw caddy tdi
and jen has her arosa

so thats where u get your dub ness from.lol

im an outcast in my family as mum dad n bro all have beemers looks like i have the better taste in the family with a seat

i think the only vag we had when i was growing up was an old audi 100 in blue.the old man wanted a coupe but couldn't afford one.

My old man had quite a few Beetles when he was younger, I keep nagging him to get another one He came to Ultimate Dubs with me a couple of years ago - and was gutted it was 99% water-cooled ha.

Mum - MK4 Golf 2.0 Gti
Me - Lupo Gti and did have MK3 Golf 1.4

and my little brother is going for his test soon and wants a Polo 6n2 (dont worry i train him well) i told him its VAG or its not coming on our drive
