New motor.......... Non VAG I'm afraid Cossie003

It's a car I've always wanted & I thought I never would due to insurance cost........... well it cost me £55 to bump up the the Sierra from the mk3 Golf VR6

price's on Sapphire's are at the bottom at the moment (paid £1500 for mine)........ there going to start to rise pretty soon & hopefully I won't loose any £££ on it

It's an early Sapphire, so it'll be a 2wd model. £1500 isn't a lot for a Cosworth at all. What's the bodywork on it really like though?

rwd (as Gee said)......... better for drag & trackdays, less strain on the clutch & only 2 tyres get wrecked

it's just had it's first bit of welding..... on the passenger side sill, the jacking point was rotten

it's had a bump on that side at some point & both door's have been replaced

the main places for rot on Sierra's...... rear arches & rear "chassis legs" are fine, just a bit of surface rust

door tops (bottom of the window) are problems on Sierra's too....... we've replaced 3 of the 4 door's with door's from a late K reg Asura that I bought off eBay

need to find a 4th door (rear passenger side)........ then I'll get Matt to paint the full car
