Id like 450 for the driver, j reg, 135k ish miles, lowerd 60mm on gas shocks, vw electric windows, weber carb, gti cam shaft, all new tires, mot til november, loads of service history, new exhaust,
i recently replaced the gasket between the carb and the in let manifold and if messed up the fueling cos the old one had a massive hole in it, so it dosent run that well.

It'll just need the fueling on the carb messing around with... a bit of trial and error will see it running fine again. I did a similar thing on my old 1.3 Ryder when I replaced my head gasket... I thought "Ooh, I'll change all the other gaskets while I'm at it." - Big mistake... I hadn't a clue what I'd done, but a bit of time fiddling with mixture screws, etc, saw it running right again.
Looks like a nice Driver too. If I had sold my BMW on Ebay last night, that could have been a good run-around while I get my GTi running.

Cheers jez.
Thats a job for this weekend, should i spray parts of the reflectors or remove the glass and tint the inside of it, and what effect will it have on the power of the lights? i was thinking xenon lamps and and uprated headlamp loom to counter act it? need advice.
I love cheap mods, cant afford masses of body work!

Sam... you just wanna be like me.
You lurrrrrve me, you wanna beeeee me...
Looking cool fella.
Jez... I got a spare set of lights, but looking at them, there's no 'spare stuff' to spray black other than the reflectors... it takes up the whole bowl.
Was thinking of making some homemade cross-hairs to go in... trick, huh?
